Richard is Head of Transactions dealing with acquisitions, disposals and leasing. A qualified chartered surveyor with over 36 years post qualification experience, Richard has been involved with most types of commercial property predominantly across the Greater Manchester/North West region. Over the last 10 years, Richard has concentrated on property investment and asset enhancement including several significant multi million pound property transactions and asset management projects. Working with our funding partners and the Millerbrook team, Richard is committed to continue to grow and improve the portfolio.
Bruce is the Financial Controller for the portfolio. A qualified accountant with 10 years post qualification experience. Bruce joined the team 3 years ago brings a wealth of experience from a variety of industries including HR and IT. As well as overseeing the day to day transactions, internal and external reporting, he has overseen the modernisation of the financial processes.
Ryan deals with all aspects of the residential side of our portfolio from maintenance and refurbishments to legislation and compliance. Ryan has almost a decade of experience in the industry and utilises that experience and mindset to realise the potential of the portfolio and provide superb homes and exemplary customer service for all prospective tenants. He is well versed in all manner of legislation within the sector, and is constantly brushing up on his knowledge on a daily basis to ensure we meet the highest standards of compliance across the board. Ryan has also been instrumental in the implementation of software programs and processes to modernise and boost day to day efficiency within the company. He also loves to be out in the field, really getting to know the properties inside and out, and he isn’t afraid to be hands on whenever something needs doing!
Jamie is the in-house maintenance specialist for the Millerbrook residential portfolio carrying out reactionary maintenance, compliance, and refurbishments. Jamie has an engineering background and enjoys the challenge of solving any issues whether large or small. He has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys building excellent relationships with colleagues and tenants alike. Jamie has been at Millerbrook Property Management since December 2021 and has developed a detailed knowledge of the property portfolio. Jamie enjoys broadening his technical skill set and applying this knowledge and experience to improving the quality of the portfolio and enhancing the living experience for all tenants.
Glenn is Head of Property overseeing the operational management of the portfolio. Glenn has a wealth of experience in the residential block management industry acting as a trouble-shooter for blocks and management companies with significant issues. He’s had great success achieving positive outcomes on major financial, structural, and supply issues on property developments. Over the last 5 years, Glenn has gained excellent experience in the commercial asset management field in developing and implementing medium term asset management strategies and also handling the day-to-day commercial lettings / management. He leads the team on all property compliance issues and has overseen the implementation of specific software packages to ensure the portfolio is fully compliant. Glenn focuses on a happy but strong work ethic and ensuring the Millerbrook team are committed to an excellent quality of property management and customer service enhancing asset value wherever possible.
Alan is a Chartered Surveyor who joined Millerbrook in 2008 to assist in creating the inhouse property management team together with the extension of both the company’s residential and commercial property investment portfolio.
Previously Alan has worked in, and with, Local Authorities, validating contractual payments, assembling large mixed use development sites throughout the north west and midlands in partnership with Housing Associations, National House builders and the relevant funding institutions. Whilst running his Property Consultancy Practice he managed shopping parades, specialised in the off market sale of land and properties to the value of £20m, negotiated settlement of building contract disputes and had extensive experience in the hospitality industry in the refurbishment of bars and night clubs Alan is focused on supporting the continued expansion of the Millerbrook Group.
Kat joined the business from a law firm with a strong reputation in the property industry. With 3 years of experience with the company, Kat is a committed accountant. She believe that being reliable and trustworthy brings out the best in you and your company. Her commitment to detail, updating financial records makes the company’s operations slick and robust.
